Ranger Security provides armed and unarmed security officers, mobile patrol, fire watch and event cover to businesses, property managers and residential communities throughout Greater Houston.
We are a Houston company. Calls are answered by people who know the city, and officers are dispatched from here rather than routed through a national call centre. That is why we can put someone on a site in hours rather than days.
Every officer we place is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, background checked, uniformed and fully insured. Commissioned officers hold the appropriate Level III certification for armed posts.

How we work
Our standards
Vetting
Criminal background check, employment verification and reference checks on every officer before they are placed on a site.
Licensing
Texas Level II certification as a minimum, Level III for armed posts, kept current and verified.
Accountability
Written post orders agreed with you, time-stamped patrol logs, and incident reports supplied without being chased.
Conduct
Uniformed, courteous and trained to de-escalate. Our officers represent your property as well as ours.
Insurance
All personnel are fully insured. Certificates of insurance are provided on request for your records.
Availability
Last-minute call-outs and overnight cover accepted. Emergency calls within Houston city limits answered as fast as we are able.
